Kentucky Wildcats vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

Saturday, November 18, 2023 – 07:30 PM ET at Williams-Brice Stadium

Our AI Model likes the Kentucky Blue Devils, 35-27 on the road on Saturday. Kentucky is bowl-eligible, while South Carolina needs back-to-back wins to play in the playoffs.

It’s been a disappointing year for the South Carolina Gamecocks. At 4-6, one more loss would end any potential bowl game for the Gamecocks.

They came into the year with higher expectations, with Spencer Rattler returning at quarterback. However, he’s only thrown for 17 touchdowns this year, while the run game has been inconsistent.

South Carolina never developed its offensive line, which showed throughout the year. Finding ways to stop the Kentucky pass rush will be hard.

Kentucky’s Strengths

Kentucky’s got a very solid secondary, which has helped the pass rush succeed throughout the season.

On the other hand, offensively, led by Devin Leary, Kentucky’s offense has gained 19 passing touchdowns. But the run game has been even better, with Ray Davis adding 11 touchdowns on 160 carries. Davis has rushed for 929 yards and is on pace to hit that 1,000-yard milestone this weekend.

Kentucky’s run game has been sensational, despite the offensive line missing blocks at a high rate. Davis and the run game will be the difference in this game. Take Kentucky -1.5.

NCAAF Pick: Kentucky -1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Wisconsin Badgers

Saturday, November 18, 2023 – 07:30 PM ET at Camp Randall Stadium

Our AI Model believes the Cornhuskers will become bowl-eligible on Saturday on the road against Wisconsin. As 4.5-point underdogs, our model likes Nebraska to win outright by five.

The winner of this game will earn six wins. The other will play next week to get that sixth win and finish at .500.

Wisconsin’s Disappointing Season

Wisconsin hasn’t had the season many had hoped they would under Luke Fickell. The season began strong, but Wisconsin has dropped four of its last five games, including losses to Indiana and Northwestern. While Wisconsin was on the road against Indiana, the Badgers looked lost against Northwester, losing 24-10 on their home field.

Close Encounters for Nebraska

Meanwhile, Nebraska has lost two straight games as well. But those losses have been a lot closer. They’re handcuffed without a quarterback who can throw the ball. That’s ultimately why the Cornhuskers have been losing. The defense in the secondary is terrific, and they’ve converted tackles well this season. The Cornhuskers just need to keep the turnovers down and grind out each drive.

Sometimes the Cornhuskers try to be what they’re not. They try and throw the ball, and chaos ensues. To get a bowl game in Matt Rhule’s first season, whoever plays quarterback just needs to run the football to make third down manageable.

Nebraska’s making adjustments. Back the Cornhuskers for Saturday’s game.

NCAAF Pick: Nebraska +4.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Georgia State Panthers vs. LSU Tigers

Saturday, November 18, 2023 – 08:00 PM ET at Tiger Stadium

The AI Model suggests LSU and Georgia State will combine for 85 points. With the total at just 71, the Over is the play.

LSU doesn’t have the easiest of games on Saturday. While they’re playing a non-Power Five opponent, they’re still facing off against a team that’s already bowl-eligible.

The Georgia State Panthers have lost their last three games. In those three games, they’ve given up at least 42 points.

LSU’s Star Lineup

Now they’ll take on Jayden Daniels and the LSU offense that ranks No. 1 in the nation. Daniels is poised to win the Heisman this year, as he’s always thrown for 3,164 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Daniels is also on pace for over 1,000 yards rushing and has eight rushing touchdowns this year.

Daniels has connected with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. for over 2,000 yards this season. The offense has been tremendous, and Georgia State’s secondary won’t be able to get any stops.

The Secondary

However, LSU’s secondary is also in the learning stages. They’ve got a lot of new players getting major reps due to injuries and other situations. The Panthers won’t have success all night. But a few touchdowns would be all that Georgia State needs to help push this game Over the total.

We figure LSU scores around 60 points in this game. Therefore, we’d need just a couple of scores from Georgia State. That’s reasonable and doable.

Let’s ride with the AI Model and take the Over.
