Gaming giant BetMGM has announced its first WNBA partnership with the 2x league champion, Las Vegas Aces, which is set to run through 2027.

BetMGM realized a 133% increase in WNBA betting over the 2024 season and has decided to invest in the league and specifically the Las Vegas Aces, a franchise that won the WNBA title in 2022 and 2023.
Although last season was a disappointment for the Aces compared to the team’s success over the previous two years, getting bounced from the semifinals by the eventual champions, the New York Liberty, they are still considered one of the league’s powers, currently boasting a record of 4-2 at the time of this writing.

MGM Resorts International has a storied history with the franchise that bought the franchise when it was known as the San Antonio Stars and moved the team to its arena at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino and rebranded the team as the Aces in 2018.
However, it was not long afterwards that Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis purchased the team from MGM in 2021. At the time, MGM president of entertainment and sports George Kliavkoff said in a statement:
“Mark is a longtime champion of women’s basketball, and we believe he is the right person to lead the Aces into a new era. We will continue our enthusiastic support of the WNBA, NBA, and basketball in Las Vegas,” Kliavkoff said.

The multi-year pact that runs through the 2027 season will allow BetMGM to have an exclusive iGaming and sportsbook partnership with the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. The deal will allow BetMGM to gain exclusive signage at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob ULTRA Arena and sponsorship throughout the Aces’ social media platforms.
The deal also includes donations to The Just One Project, which is a food resource for those who require it, through the “BetMGM Steals for Meals” campaign, which will see a $50 donation for every Aces’ steal at their home games be directed to the non-profit’s Just One Project food program.
The agreement between the two will feature BetMGM commercials during nationally televised games, WNBA tickets, and VIP experiences for its high rollers. A proprietary online slot title featuring the Aces through BetMGM’s online casino gambling platform is also under development.
