The ACC seems to be deeper than in years past. However, the ACC has still struggled to get by other Power 4 teams.

Through the first two weeks of the season, the ACC has only added three wins against other Power 4 teams. That’s the lowest number compared to the SEC, Big 12, and Big Ten.

However, with this article, we’re not concerned about how these ACC teams perform against opponents outside of the ACC. We’re only worried about how they’ll perform inside the ACC.

This conference is going to be extremely enjoyable to watch this season. Clemson, Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and SMU all look like contenders for the ACC. Plus, you can never rule out a Bill Belichick team, even if it got smoked in Week 1. He’ll certainly make adjustments and have North Carolina play competitive football down the line. The same goes for Bill O’Brien at Boston College.

With that, let’s look at the odds for the ACC Championship below.

ACC Teams to Watch

Clemson (+190)

The Clemson Tigers lost their first game of the season to LSU after being shut out in the second half at home to begin Week 1.

Emotions were high after that Week 1 loss, and Clemson looked even worse against Troy in Week 2. The Tigers found themselves trailing 16-0 at one point.

Eventually, Clemson played with passion and anger, scraping out a 27-16 win over Troy and surviving a close scare.

However, if Clemson comes out looking like that against an ACC opponent, a comeback will be much harder. They’re set to face Georgia Tech on the road this weekend. Georgia Tech didn’t have Haynes King last week, but the Yellow Jackets still put up 59 points against Gardner-Webb.

This season, Clemson plays Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Louisville on the road. They’ve also got Duke and Florida State at home. But neither of those games will be easy. Both have some really good defenses that can certainly make Clemson look silly.

As of now, there’s no way Clemson is getting a bet to win the ACC at +190 after the way they’ve played over the first two weeks of the season.

Miami Florida (+250)

The Hurricanes spent some money this offseason and brought in Carson Beck to play quarterback. The former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback has a rich history of success in college and has already helped the Hurricanes add a 27-24 win against Notre Dame.

Miami followed up that win with a dominant performance against Bethune-Cookman.

After a tune-up game, they’ve got another real test against South Florida. The USF Bulls have played very well, but they aren’t an ACC program. Even if Florida loses to USF, that won’t hurt their ACC resume.

In fact, Miami doesn’t play an ACC opponent until October 4 when they hit the road to face Florida State. That’s going to be a tremendous game. That game could go in either direction. However, I should point out, Miami plays Florida State and Louisville, but won’t have to face Clemson or Georgia Tech.

The Hurricanes have a very good schedule that should allow them to play in the ACC Championship game. I’d choose Miami over Clemson.

Florida State (+650)

This Florida State team might be better than the undefeated one a couple of years ago. Florida State stunned Alabama in Week 1 and earned a 77-3 win over East Texas A&M in Week 2.

The Seminoles will get Kent State this week, and then they’ll finally play some ACC games afterward.

Florida State has games against Miami and Clemson. But all other games in the ACC should be wins. Florida State can certainly pull out wins in those games against Miami and Clemson, especially with a home game against Miami.

Currently, Florida State offers the best value at +650 out of the top three.

It’s Time To Bet On The ACC!

Make sure to check out the 2025 college football ACC Championship odds. There’s some good value on the board right now. Clemson doesn’t look like the best program in the ACC, yet it’s the favorite heading into Week 3.

You can certainly take advantage of that and consider grabbing Miami (easier schedule) or Florida State (best overall team) to win the ACC this season, according to top-rated sportsbooks. I’d be surprised if neither of those two teams is in the Championship game when the time comes.
