If you want the biggest edges in college football, you need to hammer those college football player props. Week 11 of the FBS season is loaded to the gills with projected betting edges as high as 39.3% according to the OddsTrader projections. The trick is knowing which of these props to exploit, and which to leave on the shelf.
That’s why each of our three recommended College Football player props Week 11 has been reverse-engineered to fit into today’s ultra-chic bet type known as the SGP (Same Game Parlay, aka Single Game Parlay). Casual fans love to bet on these; in particular, they love betting on brand-name favorites, the Over, and a few select BMOCs for their player props – also with the Over in mind.
NCAAF Prop Bets Week 11 At-a-Glance
Of course, all this public action means that lower-profile underdogs and the Under tend to be sharp picks. But the edges are usually smaller on football spreads and totals than they are for player props, so if we’re trying to bet these props at “recreational” sportsbooks that limit sharp action, it can still be profitable parlaying these NCAAF player props with some marginal-EV single bets. Just keep your bet sizes below, say, $200 if you’re trying to avoid getting your action capped.
Georgia’s Chauncey Bowens (Over 43.5 Rushing Yards -114)
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs – Saturday, November 8, 12:00 PM EST
Of all the player props that fit our template – and have their Week 11 projections available for everyone to see at OddsTrader – this is the one with the largest potential profit margin at 20.6%. Georgia is favored by eight points as we go to press; reports indicate there’s sharp money on both the favorites and Over 57.5, but less so for UGA –300 on the moneyline.
Moneylines work better for our purposes anyway, so we’re more than happy to put the classic favorite-Over combo in our SGP with this ultra-tasty Bowens prop. He’s the nominal No. 2 tailback in Georgia behind Nate Frazier, but Chancey Bowens leads their RB room at 55.8 rushing yards per game with five rushing TDs. And he’ll be facing the No. 45-ranked defense on this week’s F+ Ratings at BCF Toys.
Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq (Over 32.5 Receiving Yards -114)
Oregon Ducks vs. Iowa Hawkeyes – Saturday, November 8, 3:30 PM EST
In theory, we’re sacrificing a bit of edge with this player prop by recommending Kenyon Sadiq (16.3%) over his Ducks teammate, WR Gary Bryant (19.5% to go Over 28.5 receiving yards), but Sadiq is making headlines as one of the hottest tight ends in college, so he gets the nod here. What you really want to do is pound both, and add starting RB Noah Whittington (16.5% edge at +220) to score a TD.
This is all for a Ducks team that is favored by six points (-235 on the moneyline) in this Big Ten battle. Again, Oregon appears to be the sharp side ATS, but not on the moneyline; the Under has also pulled in enough sharp action to drive Saturday’s total down from 43 to 40.5, so now we can throw a couple of marginal-EV bucks at the Over for our parlay.
Texas A&M’s Kevin Concepcion (Over 50.5 Receiving Yards -114)
Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers – Saturday, November 8, 3:30 PM EST
We complete our set of college football player props with “KC” Concepcion, the starting WR-Z for the Aggies; he’s second on the team at 68.1 receiving yards per game, but first with seven TD catches, so it should be safe picking Concepcion ahead of slot receiver Mario Craver (1.7% edge for Over 58.5 yards) – although betting both makes sense.
In this case, we’re looking at a Texas A&M team that’s drawing big bets as 7-point favorites, but not necessarily sharp bets. Those have landed on the Under, dropping the total from 49.5 to 48 and giving us another plausible excuse to put the Over in our SGP for a small sum, if only to smooth the passage of our bigger bets on those Texas A&M player props.
