Will Starling Marte Cool Off?
You can’t really hit any better than Starling Marte has against right-handed pitching over the last month. He’s faced 16 righties and has hit a .571 ISO and wOBA of .631 during that stretch.
Still, he’s struck out 25% of the time and has hit more than 45% of ground balls with only 18.2% of line drives.
While he’s put together some good numbers over the last 16 plate appearances against righties, he’s had a little bit of luck. The ground balls are high and the line drives are low. Yet, he’s added a .556 BABIP during that stretch.
It’ll be very hard to maintain those numbers moving forward.
Meanwhile, he’ll take on former Mets starter Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco has only given up a .333 BABIP over the last 30 days. He’s also added 26.2% of whiffs and 12.5% of swinging strikes against righties over the last 30 days.
Marte might struggle to even put the ball in play against Carrasco. So, I’m with the AI Model and will back Marte to earn below 1.5 total bases in tonight’s game against the Braves.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Los Angeles Angels

Our AI Model believes Andy Pages will add .272 runs in tonight’s game for the Dodgers. Meanwhile, his prop is at .5, with the under at -145. That’s another massive positive EV play for tonight’s slate.
Will Pages Even Get On Base?
The Dodgers have a red-hot lineup. But Andy Pages is one of the few players who haven’t produced against righties over the last 30 days.
Pages has hit a .156 ISO and wOBA of .304 against his last 69 righties. He’s also struck out more than 23% of the time and has walked only 2.9% of the time.
Ultimately, Pages will more than likely not walk. After all, he’s facing Kyle Hendricks, who has walked 3.1% of righties all season and none of his last 28 righties.
Additionally, Hendricks has held his last 28 righties to a .277 wOBA. He’s performed well over the last month, and that should continue, at least against Pages.
If Pages doesn’t get on base, he can’t score. Take his under.
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Athletics

Our AI Model predicts Drew Rasmussen will give up 3.9 hits tonight. Currently, his prop is set at 4.5, with the under at +115. We love a good plus-money play, and this is one of the best on the board tonight.
Drew Rasmussen Looks Elite!
The Tampa Rays have gotten some quality pitching from Drew Rasmussen lately. The right-hander has struck out 26% of his last 77 batters. He’s also limited those 77 batters to a .014 ISO and wOBA of .205 with 48.1% of ground balls.
The hard contact allowed is still high, but he’s getting a lot of hard contact on the ground, which typically results in outs anyway. Harder ground balls allow for easier double plays, too.
In addition, the Athletics have four players with low wOBA and ISO numbers, which should help Rasmussen get through the lineup unscathed.
Back Rasmussen to allow under 4.5 hits in tonight’s late-night game.
