Our AI Model suggests Seiya Suzuki will earn .789 total bases tonight. Meanwhile, his total bases prop is stuck at 1.5, with the under at -125. Here’s a good play to start off the night.
There’s No Stopping Suzuki, or Is There?
The Chicago Cubs have one of the best lineups in baseball. Seiya Suzuki is a big part of it. He’s added a .358 ISO and wOBA of .420 with 46.2% of fly balls and only 15.4% of ground balls. However, while he’s been dominant, he’s set to face one of the most surprising starters in the MLB tonight.
Adrian Houser, a veteran pitcher for the White Sox, has limited his last 54 righties to a .059 ISO and wOBA of .257. He’s also induced 58.1% of ground balls and has allowed just 5.6% of walks.
Houser isn’t going to blow pitches by hitters. But he’s limiting fly balls at a super high rate and continues to induce many ground balls.
That’s favorable, especially against Suzuki, who is a right-handed batter.

Washington Nationals vs. Minnesota Twins

Our AI Model thinks James Wood will record .778 hits. While his line is at .5, the under is juiced to +150. The Under is still favorable in this spot.
Wood Looks Bad!
James Wood is a rising star. But he’s struggled lately. The left-handed slugger has hit a .040 ISO and wOBA of .247 with 39.7% of strikeouts over the last month against righties. He’s also hit more than 59% of grounders in that time and just 11.1% of fly balls.
Tonight, he’ll battle Zebby Matthews of the Twins. Matthews is a right-handed pitcher, but he’s struck out 36.2% of lefties this season. He’s also limited lefties to a .143 ISO and has earned close to 18% of swinging strikes against lefties.
Ultimately, Matthews has been unlucky with hard contact and not many ground balls. But he’s got a very good opportunity to add multiple strikeouts to his box score against Wood tonight.
I’ll side with the AI Model and take Wood to add below .5 hits at +150.
New York Mets vs. San Francisco Giants
Friday, July 25, 2025 – 10:15 PM EDT at Oracle Park
Our AI Model predicts Juan Soto will finish with 1.034 total bases for the Mets. The highest-paid player in the game currently has a total bases prop of 1.5, with the under at -180. Let’s fade Soto tonight.
Logan Webb Is Pitching!
The San Francisco Giants are set to pitch Logan Webb tonight. The right-hander has been terrific all year, allowing a .124 ISO and wOBA of .299 throughout the season.
While Webb has allowed a high ISO and wOBA to lefties, he’s still notched close to 54% of ground balls this season against lefties. He’s also limited lefties to 16.1% of fly balls. The strikeouts are lower against lefties, but even when there’s contact, he’s not getting shelled.
He’s just been a bit unlucky. Look for Webb to settle in against Juan Soto and the Mets tonight.
