The AI Model likes the Mets to earn a 4.3-3.8 win over the Brewers tonight.
Ultimately, Frankie Montas has struggled on the mound for New York. But if he struggles even more tonight, his starting slot could be gone for good. That’s why the AI Model thinks he’ll do alright. With the Mets at +100 odds, it’s worth a gamble.
Frankie Montas’ Last Chance!
The Mets will roll with Frankie Montas one more time. It could be his last. However, the Mets seem confident he’ll turn things around and pitch well for them in the future.
Montas has limited his walks and is still getting a high rate of ground balls. He’s been a bit unlucky, which again, is something the Mets are hoping works itself out.
He’ll compete against Tobias Myers, who has walked 18.6% of his last 43 lefties. The Mets will likely have seven lefties in the lineup.
If New York stays patient at the plate and works some walks to create some chaos on the basepaths, they’ll claw out a win.
That said, I agree with the AI Model and will back the Mets priced around +100 at Caesars Sportsbook.
Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins

The AI Model suggests the Twins will dominate with a 4.6-3.2 win over the Royals. Yet, the Twins are +105 on the moneyline and currently underdogs at home. Buy low on the Twins tonight!
The Twins Can’t Touch Cameron!
The Kansas City Royals are set to pitch Noah Cameron tonight. The left-hander has limited his last 97 batters to a .099 ISO and wOBA of .284. Still, he’s not getting a lot of strikeouts and has allowed 50% of hard contact to his last 74 righties.
Meanwhile, the Twins have hit a .186 ISO and wOBA of .266 with their projected lineup against lefties over the last month. That’s not so good.
However, Cameron has still allowed a .380 BABIP to his last 74 righties. It won’t be easy for him to escape hard contact over and over again.
On the other hand, Bailey Ober will start for the Twins. Ober has limited his last 22 batters to 4.5% of walks, and he has allowed just 18.8% of line drives to his last 20 lefties.
Ober was a terrific pitcher last season. He might get back to that in the later portion of the season.
I’m backing the Twins at +105 tonight.
Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals

The AI Model believes the Cubs will earn a 4.5-4.0 win over the Cardinals tonight. However, the Cubs are just +100 on the moneyline. Despite the Cubs being on the road, this is a good spot to ride with Chicago.
The Cardinals Are Slumping!
The St. Louis Cardinals have struggled to hit right-handed pitching over the last month. The projected lineup has added a .129 ISO and wOBA of .300 with nearly 24% of strikeouts against righties during that time.
Tonight, they’ll battle Colin Rea of the Cubs, who has held his last 112 batters to 21.7% of line drives. He’s also limited teams to 44.6% of ground balls over the last month and has walked just 7.1% of batters in that time.
On the other hand, Andre Pallante will start for the Cubs. The right-hander has allowed a .365 wOBA to his last 44 lefties and will likely face a Cubs lineup that has six lefties in it.
The Cubs are the play in this game.
