Top NBA Pick: Cavaliers To Win Division (+200) at Caesars Sportsbook (check our Caesars Sportsbook Review)

The Central Division should be interesting to watch this season in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks have owned the division for a long time. But could this be the year where another team takes over? Read about our preview below.

NBA Central Division Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks won the Central Division by seven games last season. The Bucks finished 35-17 in the conference and earned a division-beat 116.9 points per game.

However, that wasn’t good enough for Milwaukee. They fired their head coach and introduced Adrian Griffin as the new head coach.

That hasn’t sat well with Giannis Antetokounmpo so far. Therefore, he hasn’t signed an extension with the Bucks. His status with the team remains uncertain. However, he’ll play out his contract this season.

With the uncertainty around the Bucks, can another team in the Central win the division?

Let’s talk about it below.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are usually very consistent. The team didn’t add much talent this offseason, but they’ll have a healthy Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, paired with Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, Bobby Portis, and Giannis.

Malik Beasley was a fun addition, and some rookies still can produce. The Bucks will dominate the regular season, but I wouldn’t be as confident to say that the Bucks will be back in the Championship mix.

I don’t think they will be that good in the playoffs. Other teams have way more talent.

Still, I’ve got the Bucks going over 52.5 wins this season.

NBA Pick: Bucks Over 52.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers certainly have more depth in this division. They will have a starting lineup that features Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Isaac Okoro, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen.

They also added Max Strus and will have Caris LeVert play plenty of minutes.

The depth of this team will help them go far, with veterans like Ricky Rubio and Georges Niang. They’ve also got some intriguing young talent on the roster that can shine bright.

Give me the Over for the Cavaliers’ win total.

NBA Pick: Cavaliers Over 50.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Indiana Pacers

This Pacers team won’t compete with the high-level teams. The big acquisition was Bruce Brown Jr., who had his moments in the NBA Playoffs with the Nuggets, but I’m not sure he was worth that much.

The Pacers have a lot of young talent that has so much potential. But potential only goes so far against teams already reaching the top of their ceiling.

Adding Obi Toppin was intriguing, and Jarace Walker should be a quality prospect for the Pacers. Still, it’ll take time for this team to figure it out.

I’m on the Under for the Pacers’ win total.

NBA Pick: Pacers Under 38.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Chicago Bulls

Don’t sleep on the Bulls this year. The Bulls are still working with Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic as the Big 3 of this team.

If those three can stay out of the injury list, the Bulls will put up a fight this year. They’ve got lots of depth with Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Dalen Terry, Patrick Williams, and Carlik Jones.

Lonzo Ball won’t be healthy this year. But there’s talent on this roster. With three perennial all-stars, the Bulls should get over 37.5 wiTns.

NBA Pick: Bulls Over 37.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Detroit Pistons

Detroit’s squad has a lot of young talent. If Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, or Ausar Thompson stands out early this season, the Pistons will surprise some people.

No, they’re not going to win the NBA Championship and likely won’t even make the playoffs. But this team will develop into a team playing for contention in the playoffs.

NBA Pick: Pistons Over 28.5 Wins (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Central Division Winner

The Cavaliers have the best starting lineup heading into the regular season. Let’s just get that straight.

The Bucks haven’t been active, leading to the Cavaliers building the better roster over the Bucks.

Cleveland has more depth, and they’ve ultimately got a more balanced lineup in the starting lineup.

Cleveland has great passers, some excellent shooters, can rebound effectively, and can play solid defense.

Back the Cavaliers to win the division at +200 betting odds. There’s more value there.
