Suzuki Evolving
Nick Suzuki has always had an eye for goal, but his main treat in our opinion has been his playmaking abilities, but overall, as a whole package he has been holding the Canadiens afloat in recent years and his burden has eased since the arrival of Cole Caulfield.
Suzuki has been the Canadiens’ top points scorer at the end of the regular season for each of the previous four seasons. Going back to last year, he had scored a career-high 33 goals and 44 assists.
Thus far this season Suzuki has scored 7 goals and had 12 assists. The main reason we are looking to target him to get on the assist board tonight is because he has been recently on a cold streak, having failed to bag an assist in three of his previous 4 games.
We believe on home ice tonight the Canadiens should manage to score at least three goals and we fancy Suzuki’s chances of assisting one of those at plus money.
The Pick
The odds at +100 for Suzuki to see an assist tonight is too high in our opinion and we would happily lay the juice on this pick down to as low as -115 betting odds.
Suzuki has seen his equal share of assists both home and away this season, bagging 7 on the road and 7 at home. Throughout his career, he has scored 102 assists on home ice and 88 when playing on the road.

Pastrnak is the Bruins’ Go To Guy
Although David Pastrnak has been the Boston Bruins’ go-to guy for a number of seasons, he has had to really step up to the plate this season with the Bruins struggling massively on offense, having had the least goals per game in the entire league.
It goes without saying that David Pastrnak has been the Bruins’ top goalscorer and assister this season, which also makes him their top points scorer. Pastrnak has been the Bruins’ top points and assists scorer for the previous two season, and this year will be his third in a row.
On home ice Boston should look to capitalize on the Canucks’ poor defense, having allowed 3.2 goals per game (the 6th worst in the entire NHL).
Having scored a goal in 4 of his first 5 games this season, Pastrnak has since only scored in 4 of 17 games and during November has only scored twice in eleven games.
The Pick
We like Pastrnak’s chances of getting back on the scoreboard tonight for the first time in four games against this Canucks side who seem to ship a lot of goals when playing on the road thus far this season. Albeit the fact that the Canucks are also 7-0 in their previous seven road games.
Throughout his career, Pastrnak has only scored five times in seventeen games against the Canucks but we like his betting odds to get back on the scoreboard tonight at +130. Although we wouldn’t advise betting any lower than +120.
