Key Facts

Stars Win in Sin City
The Dallas Stars garnered 113 regular season points, best in the West and only one point shy of the Rangers’ league-leading 114 points. Yet, they entered Sin City on Saturday night down 2-0 in their playoff series against the Golden Knights and lost the home-ice advantage they had worked for all season long.
But they returned to form and eked out a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 3 after outshooting the Knights, 46-34, and had it not been for an absolutely stellar performance by Vegas goalie, Logan Thompson, this game would have gotten out of hand early and resulted in a blowout.
NHL Best Bet
Dallas should be entering this Game 4 matchup up 2-1 and not trailing 2-1 after losing a Game 1 decision, 4-3, in which the Knights managed only 15 shots on net. Stars goaltender, Jake Oettinger, has been good but not elite this season and he did not look sharp in the opening game.
However, Oettinger did rebound with a solid effort in Game 3 and the Stars have proven to be road warriors this season, boasting the best record away from home in the league (26-10-5) and winning 9 of their last 10 road contests.
I believe it’s a lot to ask of Thompson to have that kind of a game again after only a day of rest. I suspect the Stars will come out firing and win another close one on Monday night.
