History doesn’t bode well for Arsenal when they visit Anfield, as they haven’t won a game at this stadium since 2012. That said, Arsenal boasts the best away record this term, having won 11 of their 14 road fixtures while owning the highest away scoring record (28) and conceding the least (9).
If there were a time to overcome Arsenal’s EPL kryptonite, which is Anfield, it would be now. Liverpool doesn’t present the same threat of past years. As Arsenal edge closer to dethroning Manchester City of their Premier League crown, Arteta and company enter the weekend meeting behind a 7-game domestic win streak and look more primed than ever to finally produce a winning result on Merseyside.

The Premier League odds for Liverpool vs. Arsenal have plus money on either side. Still, the Gunners’ unstoppable form and league positioning make them the bookie’s most favorable team to win (+140).
Despite their incredible away form and Liverpool’s downtrend this season, the Reds present a level of unpredictability that is difficult to fade. Just a few weeks back, they dismantled Manchester United 7-0, and when they’re on, they’re still capable of delivering a world-class performance.

Title-contending aspirations are very much alive for Freiburg, and their confidence levels in regard to stopping Bayern Munich in their tracks will be higher than ever. This past Tuesday night, Freiburg delivered an ultra-impressive 2-1 victory over Bayern as they eliminated Thomas Tuchel’s men from the DFB Pokal.
Coming from a goal down, Nicolas Hofler equalized the scoreline. Still, Lucas Holer’s extra-time second-half-stoppage-winner sent his team into the DFB Pokal final while simultaneously eliminating the German champions from the competition.
With little time to rest, the two sides do battle once more. Freiburg’s cup victory over Bayern snapped a long winless streak against the Bundesliga champions, and the reverse fixture at the Allianz ended in a 5-0 whitewash for the German giants. However, with 10 points collected from their previous six domestic games and home advantage, Freiburg isn’t likely to allow a similar scoreline this weekend.
Bayern Munich
Outside their DFB Pokal exit, Bayern Munich has collected 12 points from the previous 18 on offer in the Bundesliga. Tuchel will sit in the dugout for his third game as Bayern coach following Julian Nagelsmann’s exit. He’ll be hopeful the squad can match the performances delivered by their previous coach, as this team has netted 17 goals from their last six domestic games.
Statistically, Bayern Munich is the Bundesliga’s most impressive team on the road. With that said, Bayern suffered defeat in 2 of their last 3 away games, albeit while Nagelsmann was steering the ship.
