The Tour Championship is a unique thirty-runner event on the PGA Tour whereby the current standings in the FedEx Cup handicap the leaderboard from the starts as below:
- 10-under par: Scottie Scheffler
- 8-under par: Xander Schauffele
- 7-under par: Hideki Matsuyama
- 6-under par: Keegan Bradley
- 5-under par: Ludvig Aberg
- 4-under par: Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay.
- The rest: 11-15. 3-under par, 16-20. 2-under par, 21-25. 1-under par, 26-30. Even par

In fact, Quail Hollow, where he won the Wells Fargo, is on the major championship rota, so little wonder he took to East Lake Golf Club like a duck to water. An impressive debut resulted in the thirty-year-old finishing 7th and with that course experience in the locker, we can expect Clark to do better this year as he tees it up in good consistent form.
That form in 2024 saw Clark winning the Pebble Beach Pro-am and being runner-up at the Players Championship early doors. After a mid-season slump in form, recent weeks however have seen Clark back to shooting low scores in a run of high-placed finishes when he has not been able to string four good rounds together.
The Tour Championship market sees Clark start 8th, six strokes back and we suggest a small bet on Wyndham Clark to put four good rounds together.
