The world’s largest independent developer and distributor of casino table games and technology, Galaxy Gaming, has announced the release of its latest iGaming offering called Roulette Up. Those states, like Michigan or New Jersey, in which DraftKings, Golden Nugget, and WynnBET have an online casino presence are already offering this new attraction on their iGaming menu.
Server provider, ODDSworks, has teamed with Galaxy Gaming and its BETguard Remote Gaming Server (RGS) platform to ensure that high-volume traffic on this and many other titles in Galaxy Gaming’s collection will be seamlessly handled by the system.

What’s Different?
In the game of roulette, there are 38 numbers on the wheel of which some are red while some are black. Players bet on exact numbers, columns of numbers, clusters of numbers, odd/even numbers, and/or whether red or black will come out after the wheel has spun and the small ball circling the wheel has landed. Winners are paid while money is collected on the losing wagers and a new game begins.
The same is true with Roulette Up only there is a side bet that can be worth an increasing amount of money depending on how long the streak lasts. And what streak might that be? Those who take advantage of the side bet will be wagering that the number that comes out will be higher than the one in the previous game. This bet is considered completed when a lower number comes out or the number grows increasingly higher on eight consecutive spins triggering a jackpot.
The prize ladder based on a $5 bet is as follows:
- Streak of three: Pays $10
- Streak of four: Pays $20
- Streak of five: Pays $100
- Streak of six: Pays $250
- Streak of seven: Pays $1250
- Streak of eight: Pays Progressive Jackpot
Should multiple players hit the progressive jackpot then the prize money will be distributed evenly between them. This new twist on roulette makes the game even more engaging and Galaxy Gaming has indicated it will be coming to the Canadian market sooner than later.
