Online gaming company, Playtech, recently opened its third online casino studio with a soft launch on November 28th in its newest market, Pennsylvania.

There is a certain authenticity that a live dealer brings to the table that an automated blackjack game lacks. A losing streak at an automated online game of 21 could feel as though the random number generator broke and was replaced with a digitally generated stacked deck. But a live dealer gives the impression that things are on the up and up even though winning is far from guaranteed.
That is the leg up on the competition that Isle-of-Man-based Playtech brings as every hand of blackjack is dealt with a flesh and blood dealer as opposed to an automated game driven by an algorithm that was designed by an anonymous team of software developers from who knows where.
Third Market
Playtech is now live in Pennsylvania, its third and latest market following successful launches in New Jersey and Michigan. Customers in the Keystone State and New Jersey can find the platform on the betPARX iGaming network. This is also the company’s third live studio and it is open for business 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Playtech Partners With FanDuel
There are only six states that offer iGaming in the U.S. but there are markets north of the border to be conquered, and to that end, Playtech has signed an agreement with sports betting giant, FanDuel, to launch branded Live Casino content on their Canadian platform.
A studio has been built in Riga, Latvia specifically for FanDuel’s Canadian customers and it is designed to meet all regulatory requirements in the Ontario market. Roulette, All Bets Blackjack, Baccarat, and 7-Seater Blackjack will be the mainstays of the live online gaming menu for now.

Should Canadian gaming expand to include other provinces, this agreement would hold for those markets as well.
