The Yankees will throw lefty Carlos Rodon tonight. He’s a lefty pitcher who is known for high strikeouts. However, despite the high strikeouts, Rodon has allowed a .233 ISO and wOBA of .377 to his last 68 righties. This is notable because the Guardians have two powerful bats in the middle of the order who have smashed lefties in the last month.
Jose Ramirez, a switch hitter who will be righty, has hit a .545 ISO and wOBA of .484 against his last 12 lefties. Lane Thomas, another righty, has launched a .467 ISO and wOBA of .496. Those two should give the Guardians a solid boost.
