It’s one solid defense facing a very shaky defense in this Pacific Division clash between the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights. Previous games between these two teams have been a lot of fun, having seen an average of 7.2 goals per game across their previous five meetings.
The Golden Knights have started to ramp things up having gone 3-0 in their previous three games and look to take control of a Western Conference battle that has been floundering as of late. But the Golden Knights might be about to take control as they find themselves just three points behind the leaders Dallas with one game in hand.
The Pick
The Golden Knights have been on fire in their 3-0 winning streak, scoring a total of 17 goals and allowing only four. It’s hard to believe they are going to underwhelm now on home ice in a division game that they are desperate to win, against a very winnable San Jose team.
The Sharks have gone 12-18 away from home this season and our computer predicts it will get worse for them with a 4-2 victory for the Golden Knights. We are loving the plus money at NHL odds of +130 for the Sin City team to win this one by 2+ goals.
