Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs

Wednesday, February 01, 2023 – 08:00 PM EST at AT&T Center

Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings)

The Sacramento Kings have won four games in a row against the San Antonio Spurs. They look to continue that streak tonight. Their most recent game was a 118-111 overtime win in Minnesota. The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Kings.

Domantas Sabonis is making an All-Star push. However, he is not simply relying on points to prove how important he is to the team. Sabonis has been putting up stats in all categories not just by scoring.

The Pick

Domantas Sabonis has only gone over this point total once in the past eight games. He has put up excellent numbers in rebounds and assists, but he has been looking to get his teammates involved on the offensive end rather than shooting through double teams.

Sabonis is only averaging 18.5 points per game so I can guess that the reason the books put this line higher is that this game has an inflated total of 244.5. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sabonis as a facilitator and distributor instead of being a shooter tonight.

NBA Prop Pick: Domantas Sabonis Under 19.5 Points (-114) at BetRivers

Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns

Wednesday, February 01, 2023 – 10:00 PM EST at Footprint Center

John Collins (Atlanta Hawks)

The Phoenix Suns have won seven of their last eight games. Tonight they take on the Atlanta Hawks in a nationally televised game on ESPN. The Sun’s most recent outing was a 114-106 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

The Atlanta Hawks are struggling as of late and they have lost four of their last five games. Their most recent game was a 129-125 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. That was the first game in a five-game road trip.

The Pick

Games with low totals mean lower statistical opportunities for player props. Fewer shot attempts mean fewer opportunities for rebounds. We will take advantage of that knowledge tonight when we go Under on John Collins.

John Collins is the Hawks leading rebounder at 7.7 rebounds per game. However, his rebounding output has diminished with the Hawks frontline now fully healthy again. With Collins being out on the wings more, he has gone under this rebounding total in seven of his last 10 games.

Phoenix will bring him out of the paint again tonight and allow the centers to grab the rebounds while Collins plays on the perimeter.

NBA Prop Pick: John Collins Under 7.5 Rebounds (-130) at Bet365

Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics

Wednesday, February 01, 2023 – 07:30 PM EST at Barclays Center

Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics)

The Boston Celtics take on the Brooklyn Nets in Boston tonight. The Nets are coming off a 121-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night. Brooklyn will once again be playing without Kevin Durant. The Nets are 4-6 since Durant left the lineup with an MCL sprain.

Boston enters that game on a down stretch, going 1-3 in their last four games. However, they were able to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 125-121 in overtime on Saturday night.

The Pick

Jayson Tatum has recorded a double-double in his last three games. Tatum is making a push for his team to have the top seed in the East as well as being an MVP candidate. With multiple players in the NBA putting up huge numbers, Tatum has been following suit.

Tatum has scored more than 30 points and grabbed more than 11 rebounds in each of his last three outings. He will definitely reach double digits in points, it’s the rebounding where we are making this bet.

Tatum has been fabulous on the boards as of late and even had a 19-rebound outing against the Golden State Warriors earlier this month. With Tatum making extra emphasis to hit the glass, the Double-Double is a great bet tonight.

NBA Prop Pick: Jayson Tatum Double-Double / Yes (+140) at Unibet
