Chicago Bulls vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 – 08:00 PM EST at FedExForum
Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls)
- Over 22.5 Points Scored
The Memphis Grizzlies have lost three games in a row. Tonight they face a team in the opposite situation. The Chicago Bulls are on a three-game winning streak.
The Bulls played last night and easily beat the San Antonio Spurs 128-104. The Memphis Grizzlies last played on Sunday where they fell 106-103. In that game, Memphis had as high as a 15-point lead, but they were unable to hold on and suffered another loss.
The OddsTrader BetStation helped me pinpoint this prop. This app had one of the biggest discrepancies on the board because under 24.5 points is available at Bet365. Finding these discrepancies is a great way to use the app and get the best price available for the prop that you have selected.
Zach LaVine has scored 30 points twice in the last five games. He averages 23.6 points per game this season. He also had a slow start due to coming back from an injury. Over the last 45 days, he averaged 25.5 points per game as he has found his form.
The app helps me find the best price and we will take advantage of it tonight when Zach LaVine goes over his point prop total.
NBA Prop Pick: Zach LaVine Over 22.5 Points (-122) at BetRivers
New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 – 07:00 PM EST at Amway Center
Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic)
- Over 4.5 Rebounds
In their last outing, the New York Knicks overcame a 20-point deficit to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 108-97. Now they try to keep that momentum going on when they head down to take on the up-and-coming Orlando Magic tonight.
The Magic are coming off a successful four-game road trip in which they went 3-1. Their most recent outing was a 119-113 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. On December 7, the Magic were 5-20 and looked to be one of the worst teams in the league. Since then, the Magic are an impressive 17-12.
Franz Wagner averages 4.1 rebounds per game this season but he’s gone over this total in three of his last four games. He is the type of player who will do whatever it takes to win, and currently, the team needs him to attack the glass. He has gone over the total in nine of his last 13 games.
Wagner is a versatile player and he will show off his rebounding acumen against the New York Knicks. I expect Wagner’s streak of going over this rebounding number to continue tonight.
NBA Prop Pick: Franz Wagner Over 4.5 Rebounds (+110) at BetMGM
Atlanta Hawks vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 – 07:30 PM EST at Smoothie King Center
Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks)
The New Orleans Pelicans have shaken off a 10-game losing streak to win two games in a row. The Pelicans defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 131-126 on Saturday and then on Sunday defeated the Sacramento Kings 136-104. Tonight will be the third in a four-game homestand for them.
The Hawks split their last two games defeating Utah on Friday before falling to Denver on Saturday. Trae Young missed the game against the Denver Nuggets. Fortunately for the Hawks, Young will be back in the lineup this evening.
Trae Young is just shy of averaging a double-double this season. Young averages 27 points and 9.9 assists per game. He has recorded a double-double in five of his last six games.
This prop continues to be mispriced. Due to internal criticism from teammates, Young has made a more concerted effort as of late to be a distributor and use his innovative passing ability. That has led to Young racking up the assists and more team chemistry for the Atlanta Hawks.
We know Young will get there on the point total, we just need the assists to get there, and I expect Trae Young will have a high assist total tonight.
