Jaden Ivey has a good matchup going against the Dallas team that will struggle with his athleticism. Jaden Ivey will be by far the quickest player on the court and should be able to get to the rim and create space.

Jaden Ivey has gone over this total in six of his last eight games. Ivey is a clear case of a player who is coming into form as he gains more experience at the NBA level. He has the athleticism to be a dominant player in the NBA. He is still learning the ins and outs of how to use his athleticism.
Ivey is learning to reign in his drives to the rim and is not so reckless with tunnel vision. He had the tendency to try and finish through double and triple teams at the beginning of the year, but he is doing a better job of recognizing when to attack the basket and when to find an open teammate.
This recognition made Ivey a more dangerous scorer because now teams know they cannot just collapse on him. His increased passing ability has made him a better scorer. This has been on display over the last eight games, and it will be on display once again tonight.

Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected to miss tonight’s showdown against the Brooklyn Nets. This means Russell Westbrook will move to center stage of the Lakers’ offense.
The Lakers are coming off a tough overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. They have decided that James will be sidelined by left ankle soreness in Davis with a right foot stress injury.
The Brooklyn Nets are coming off a 122-115 win over the Knicks. They should be fired up to face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.

When LeBron is out, Westbrook takes over Los Angeles Lakers offense. That means he will get there on points for sure. The great thing about Westbrook is he can reach the Double-Double with either rebounds or assists.
Russell Westbrook has always been a man to stuff the stat sheet, especially when he has ample opportunity. Tonight will be his night to shine as he will become the focal point of the Lakers’ attack.
